Opening Ceremonies
Opening Ceremonies for the 2009 McLeod Health Dixie Youth Baseball AAA and Majors Division State Tournaments will be held on Saturday, July 25 starting at 2:30pm at the Freedom Florence Recreational Complex. Games will follow the ceremonies beginning at 4:00pm, 6:00pm and 8:00pm on four fields. Due to the expected large crowd for the tournament, please plan on arriving early for activities and games. Address to the event is: 1515 Freedom Blvd., Florence, S.C. 29505.
1959 DYB State Champion and World Series Runner-Up team will be recognized on their 50th anniversary and the South Carolina Dixie Scholarship recipients will also be recognized.

Home Run Derby+
The 2009 Home Run Derby will be held at the Freedom Florence Lower Complex Fields on Sunday, July 26 starting at 1:00pm. One participant per team. Admission is free.
